Who operates ScrapRadar

ScrapRadar is operated by ShopJimmy as a partner-facing workflow product for salvage inventory triage and review.

Data we collect

• Account and application details such as full name, email address, phone number, business name, and business address.
• Application proof photos, including example inventory and business/location photos submitted for beta review.
• Scan images, OCR text, barcode payloads, detected brand signals, and related resolution metadata.
• Operational account status, review notes, and admin approval history.

How we use this information

• To verify applicants and decide whether to approve beta access.
• To process scans, extract identifiers, and improve inventory triage workflows.
• To support partner operations, diagnostics, application review, and account administration.
• To send verification messages and application status notifications.

Third-party services and processing

• SendGrid may be used to deliver verification and application-related email.
• Twilio may be used to deliver SMS verification codes.
• OpenAI-backed processing may be used for some scan-resolution workflows when OCR/barcode heuristics alone are not sufficient.

Retention and deletion

We retain account, application, and scan information for operational review, support, and product workflows for as long as reasonably necessary. Users can initiate account deletion from within the app. Deletion requests remove the account and associated server-side scan history according to our active system behavior.
